As a lifelong resident of Mobile, I know what makes our unique area such a special place to live. I love exploring our great city and admiring the character and architecture it has to offer. I find true fulfillment in helping clients find the perfect place to put down roots.
I have an accounting degree from Auburn University and have spent most of my career in that field. I took a few years off to raise my two children while they were young and truly value that important time at home. During that time, however, I realized my passion for real estate, particularly new construction. I made the jump in 2024 and obtained my real estate license, and joined MarketVision Real Estate.
As your Realtor and true fiduciary, along with my financial background, I am committed to helping my clients make the best financial decisions and guide them through the home buying process every step of the way. I understand that buying a home is one of the biggest financial decisions you will ever make. That’s why I am committed to being your trusted advisor and advocate throughout the entire process. Jacob Hartley

Jacob started his career in real estate in June of 2008. Through the economic downturn, Jacob built his career around representing a network of investors, developers, and landowners as well as selling distressed and non-performing assets for various financial institutions in both Mobile and Baldwin Counties totaling over 100 million in real estate transactions. In 2015 Jacob co-founded Prime Design Homes with the vision of bringing people together who share the same values and possess a passion for making a positive impact within their community in order to challenge housing’s status quo throughout the Gulf Coast. In 2020 Jacob co-founded MarketVision Real Estate to provide real estate consumers a comprehensive and in-depth perspective of the overall real estate market while leveraging technology to provide a streamlined customer-centric experience that places its customers at the forefront of the marketplace.
Jacob is a Mobile native. While attending college in Auburn, Jacob went on to join the United States Marine Corps as an infantry reservist where he served with Lima Company 3rd Battalion 23rd Marines, in Montgomery, AL.
Jacob is married to his wife, Laura. They have two daughters, Olivia and Reese, and a son, Knox. In his downtime, Jacob enjoys spending time with his family and the outdoors. Jacob and his family are members of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
